Russian WWII Infantry Budenovka M27

The “Budenovka” is made of semi-rough cloth of dark gray color with lined cap and a visor, fastened with two small black buttons. The cap consists of six spherical triangles sewn together by sides. In front of the cap is a star made of Purple/red “infantry” colored cloth with a enamel star pinned in place. The visor is made of soft, cloth. The cap is lined with grey colored sturdy drill cloth. On the lining we distinguish the stamp of the manufacturer in 1938 and size 58. The cap is in very good condition with clear signs of use. No holes, rips or mendings. Included in the sale is a period photo showing a similar cap in wear the photo is dated 1940.3.25 and signied by the Soldier.
