Heer Second Pattern Issue Tropical Breeches
575.00€
Second pattern light weight olive/khaki green breeches made of cotton with a subtly ribbed weave. The breeches has a vertical four button French fly with an additional two buttons on the waistband. The waistband has a tunnel loop which houses a built-in khaki/tan canvas web belt with a corresponding tan painted triple claw metal buckle. The buckle retains about 99% of its original tan paint. The breeches have two slash front pockets and a small watch pocket positioned beneath the right front waistband. The waistband also has a small stitched on metal loop for securing a watch chain still intact. The reverse of the breeches have a single horizontal slash pocket to the right seat with a single button closure. The reverse of the cuffs each is tied with draw strings. All intact, one of the four strings is worned / cut of and is now about 2-3 cm long.
The interior is partly lined in white cotton. The waistband lining is well marked with black inkstamped size, RB number and year of manufacturing “43” for 1943. The buttons are all alloy dish type and original stitched in Place.
Overall very good condition with light signs of age and use.
